After our visit to the Wing Luke Museum, the girls and I strolled through the International District, looking for lunch. They were gracious enough to share their umbrellas with me, seeing as I'd forgotten mine in Denver...and the famous Seattle rains were out in force.

We passed on the roasted duck (couldn't quite handle the heads and beaks!) and settled on some delicious
dim sum at the
House of Hong. (
Dim sum is the name for a Chinese cuisine which involves a wide range of light dishes served alongside Chinese tea.
Dim sum rhymes with
YUM!!!)

Afterwards we headed over to Seattle's Asian market,
Uwajimaya where the girls introduced me to their favorite Asian toys...
Monchhichi characters... and
Hello Kitty.

...They even made me get into a
Yama electric rice cooker! Good thing I'm such a good sport!!
